We spent a wonderful two weeks in Luxor and enjoyed some good food but this was without doubt our favourite restaurant.
We visited by chance having enjoyed the restaurant's response to a very rude review. We were so impressed that we wanted to check it out. We weren't disappointed.
The first surprise was that the restaurant was packed, we were lucky to get a table, always a good sign even more so now with the tourist trade very slow.
We made two more visits and each was as enjoyable. The food is excellent, very generous portions, made even better by the friendly and often hilarious team.

This is great restaurant , the owner Debbie makes all her own food I have eaten most nights through my 2 week stay, I am yet to find a meal that I do not like, she also makes her own deserts and the cheese cake is the best I have ever tasted in my life,
Any one visiting over Xmas' Debbie is doing a great menu but you will need to book, I'm sure any one that eats in this restaurant will not be disappointed prices are really good to,,,

despite a "plush" feel, giving it the vibes of a reserve for homesick brittons, we were lucky to eat outstanding food: a tempura of great scampi and vegetables, and a nice lambstew. Because of the time of our visit ( elections ) there were very few visitors, normally you need to make reservations.

We ate here a couple of times during our stay in Luxor in September/October 2011 and were not disappointed by anything at all. Debbie is an excellent hostess and makes sure that all her customers are satisfied with their meals. The staff were friendly and efficient.
Some approximate prices for four are:
1 x soup, 1 x surf and turf, 1 x goulash, 1 x beef cobbler plus water and drinks (beer and soft drinks) 342LE (I can’t remember why we only had three main courses on that particular night!)
2 x soups, 2 x chicken curries, 1 x goulash, 1 x beef with Yorkshire puddings plus water, beer and soft drinks 386LE
The restaurant is spotlessly clean, as are the toilets. There is quite an extensive menu and there are always specials on the board.
It is normally wise to book a table here, although things were quite quiet during our visit with low visitor numbers in general.
I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending a visit here.
